Privacy Policy

Task Dump is designed to work without an account and without advertising or tracking.

Information in Task Dump

Your lists, brain dumps, task dates, completion state, and focus history are stored on your phone. Task Dump does not send this information to us.

If you turn on iCloud backup, Task Dump stores a private backup in your own iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud service. Backup is optional and off by default. You can turn it off, restore it, or permanently delete the iCloud copy from Task Dump’s settings.

On Android, optional backup writes to a file you choose through the system file picker. If you choose a cloud provider, that provider stores the copy under its own privacy terms. Backup is off by default. You can disable backup or delete the chosen copy in Settings.

Onboard intelligence

On supported iPhones, automatic sorting and Make It Smaller use onboard intelligence. Task Dump does not send your task text to us or to a hosted intelligence service, and it does not use your content for advertising or model training.

On supported Android devices, automatic sorting and Make It Smaller use onboard intelligence. Task text is processed on the device and is not sent to Bedrock Group LLC. Availability depends on the device and onboard intelligence readiness.

Android onboard intelligence diagnostics

Google’s onboard intelligence service collects device and app information, user/device or other identifiers and installation identifiers, feature usage events, configuration and language information, input/output sizes, performance metrics, and error codes for diagnostics and usage analytics. These diagnostics are separate from your task text. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit and is not transferred to third parties by Google’s service. See Google’s onboard intelligence service data disclosure. Task Dump does not provide a separate opt-out from the service’s diagnostic collection.

Purchases

Apple on iOS and Google Play on Android handle payments and purchase records. Task Dump checks with the relevant store only to determine whether paid features are active. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Notifications

Task Dump creates local reminder and timer notifications only when you ask it to. You can change notification access in your phone’s Settings.

Export and deletion

You can export a readable copy of your Task Dump data from Settings. You can delete individual items, clear completed items, delete lists, and delete an optional iCloud backup in the app. Removing Task Dump from your phone removes its local app data. Exported files and cloud copies must be deleted separately.

Tracking and advertising

Task Dump has no ads, cross-app advertising tracking, or data broker sharing. The Android onboard intelligence service’s diagnostic collection is described above.

Support requests

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to answer your request and retain it only as needed for support and applicable legal obligations. Do not send private task content unless necessary. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence.

Children

Task Dump is a general productivity tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be reflected in the app or its store listing.
